Professor Dr. Hans Peter Brandl-Bredenbeck ist Lehrstuhlinhaber für Sportpädagogik und Sportdidaktik an der Universität Paderborn. Die Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte sind im Kinder- und Jugendsport angesiedelt. Dabei werden sowohl der Schulsport als auch außerschulische Kontexte berücksichtigt. Professor Brandl-Bredenbeck hat eine Vielzahl von Publikationen in nationalen wie internationalen Zeitschriften und Sammelbänden veröffentlicht. Zudem ist er als Gutachter für verschiedene nationale und internationale Fachzeitschriften tätig.

Prof. Dr. Christoph Breuer
Christoph Breuer is full professor of Sport Management at the German Sport University Cologne. There he is also program leader for the MSc. Sport Management. Beyond that he was research professor for sport science at the German Institute of Economic Research, Berlin. At the same time he is research fellow at the University of Leuven, Belgium.
He has about 40 international refereed publications and numerous publications in German. His main research fields are (1) economics of clubs, (2) event economics and (3) economics of sponsoring. Mr Breuer is also member of the editorial board of Sport Management Review and the International Journal of Sport Management and Marketing.

Prof. Dr. Dieter Hackfort
Dr. Dieter Hackfort is a professor for sport and exercise psychology with the University AF Munich. In 1986 he was a visiting professor at the Center for Behavioral Medicine and Health Psychology at the University of South Florida.From 1991 to 2004 he was the Head of the Institute for Sport Science at the University AF of Munich. From 2004 to 2009 Dr. Hackfort holds the position as the founding Dean of Aspire the Academy for Sports Excellence in Doha, Qatar. From 2009 to 2010 he served as a founding Director of the Sport Science Program at Qatar University.
He has served as a counselor for professional performers and athletes of various sports at the Olympic Centers in Germany. His research has been published in 27 books and edited volumes, and in more than 150 contributions in national and international journals. He headed projects in Quality Management and successfully managed ISO 9000 and EFQM certifications in educational and sports organizations in Germany and Qatar. From 2005 to 2009 Dr. Hackfort served as the President of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP), at present he holds the office of the Past-President of the organization. Since 2009 he is a member of the Executive Board of ICSSSPE (International Council for Sport Science and Physical Education).
Dr. Hackfort was awarded repeatedly for his outstanding research and leadership, e.g., in 1984 from the German Sports Federation: Carl-Diem Plakette for his research, 2001 he received the Honor Award of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP) in recogniton of significant contributions to national and international sport psychology through leadership, research, and personal service. 1999 he was appointed Honor Professor of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, China.

Prof. Dr. Walter Tokarski
Professor Dr. Walter Tokarski übernahm 1990 als Universitätsprofessor für Pädagogik die Leitung des Instituts für Europäische Sportentwicklung und Freizeitforschung an der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln. Seine Schwerpunkte in Lehre und Forschung sind Internationale und Europäische Sportpolitik, Sportentwicklung, Freizeit und Breitensport, Freizeitwissenschaft, Zeitforschung, Lebensstilforschung, soziale Gerontologie, Hochschulpolitik und –marketing, über die mehr als 450 Publikationen vorliegen. Er hat mehrere Honorarprofessuren im Ausland inne. Seit 1999 ist er Rektor der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln.
